This course is intended to repeat and deepen previously acquired skills and competencies from the Emergency Response Officer Basic course. It’s a practical course where all modules are repeated: providing first aid, combat a starting fire ant to start and supervise an evacuation.

This refreshers consists of 2 module: 

• First Aid
• Firefighting & evacuation

During the course you’ll learn the basics of administering first aid, dealing with small fires and the general procedures in the event of an evacuation. For specific business risks (e.g. working at heights) an additional course or instruction will be required. During refresher courses participants can suggests topics that they have dealt with in their role as emergency response officer.

Teaching material

For this course no specific teaching material will be send.  In preparation participants can read the previously issued theory book Basic Emergency Response Officer.

Course duration and times

The course covers 1 day. The course times are from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm. Coffee / tea and a lunch are included.

Exemption First Aid

Participants with a valid first aid diploma from the Orange Cross of the Red Cross can be exempted from the module First Aid. If you want to make use of this exemption, you can indicate that on the registration form.
