This course is intended for people who require a valid diploma VCA VOL for their work. This diploma shows that a senior employee or self-employed person has knowledge about safety and health issues and can transfer this to others. The participants are familiar with the Working Conditions Act and regulations, recognizing unsafe situations and actions, preventing occupational accidents and organizing toolbox meetings.

This course consists of two parts:

• E-learning VOL VCA
• VCA VOL exam

The theory of VCA VOL is explained through an e-learning. It is possible to stop and restart the e-learning at any time and therefore does not have to be completed in one go. With the e-learning participants can prepare themselves for taking the VCA VOL exam.

After an exam date has been set, the login information of the e-learning is sent to the participants. The exam can take place at AOC Snijders or at one of the exam locations of the examination agency. A VCA VOL exam consists of 70 questions in various forms. A participant has passed the exam when at least 4,515 (64.5%) points have been obtained. The diploma is valid for 10 years. The diploma details are entered in the diploma register of the VCA exam bank.

The subjects in the e-learning meet the attainment targets as laid down by the Centraal College van Deskundigen under supervision of  Stichting Samenwerken Voor Veiligheid.

The login information for the e-learning will be sent by email to the participants. The results of the mock exam in the e-learning does not have to be shown at the exam location.

Course duration and times

Participants have 90 minutes to complete the VCA VOL exam.
